Ministry Marketing Encouragement To Advance The Kingdom Of God

“Build a bridge and get over it dad,” said my then 5 year old son to his dad correcting him on an issue.

Needless to say…Dave and I were shocked this statement came out of our young son, yet to this day it makes us all laugh (even though THEN it was not a laughing matter.)

This phrase came back to me this week. I was praying about the issue of resistance which seems to come to many people.  You may feel it too, as you go forward in your destiny with your ministry/vision.

I had asked the Lord WHY so many anointed and called vessels of honor were not in a place to really go forward in their call and giftings…to have the resources to impact the world right now!

The resistance might be lack, no time, strife in relationships, fear, unbelief, your flesh…And the battle feels like this great wall surrounding the one thing inside that’s keeping you from your destiny. Inside that wall could be that one connection, strategy, resource, person, or revelation that could break you out from the battle into fulfilling your destiny in sharing the message God has given you to the world.

As I was pondering this issue, as clear as day I heard, “BUILD A BRIDGE AND GET OVER IT THERESA!”

It so startled me I looked over to my husband to see if he said it…or heard it! (He just looked at me wondering what caused the look of shock on my face).

So I tried to make sense of it all.

I realize struggles and battles will arise in your ministry/vision  pursuit.

How will God move you in position to minister or release the anointing He has place in you?

What people/saints  of God will He connect you with to carry out His will?

When will these people and resources manifest?

“The details of the outworking of His will are so cloudy.”

Doubt is one fruit of a spirit that must be demolished.

Fear, if not countered by faith and trust in God, can destroy a dream/vision/ministry that is in the process of being fulfilled and carried out in a life.

“So what’s the bridge God…what do I build,” I asked

It’s simply this, He said…The Bridge is Jesus. You build by making sure the foundation of your work is the Word and His Holy Spirit guiding you…And then you walk in Jesus’ strength, wisdom, and power.

Amidst the process of building that bridge, obey God’s Word (walk by faith). Wait on Him to put the pieces perfectly in place for the fulfillment of the mission He has given you. The manifestation of His glory is in you.

Know that what He calls you to do, He enables. For with Him, nothing is impossible.!

God is placing big things, huge assignments  into the hearts of His Kingdom builders. The vision is so large that you can stagger under the weight of it.

You are not called to carry the Kingdom calling, but to walk into it with belief that the One who gave you the call, will bring it to completion.  As you take steps of faith, be attentive to His directions, His networking and divine connections.

And keep building…

You may be surprised that this move of the Spirit will not come out of the big and well known “camps” in the Church world, but out of the smaller camps out of the public’s eye. These are the hidden gems, the unknown teachers and masters of faith, who God has been equipping to fulfill His plan in these latter days.

These believers have gone through the fires, faced the wilderness, walked amidst the trials, and are coming forth as tried and true.

They are coming. They are coming.

People will flock to you who need the answers and the Word to help them through a crash.

So, get ready, get ready.

Do what He says.

Build on that relationship with Jesus. Equip yourself now. Pray without ceasing. Seek Him and His Kingdom first in all things.

Banish the fear and replace it with belief. Yield to God and trust His ways.

It’s time for His Church, His Body of true believers, to step up to the plate and hit homer runs for Him. It’s time for His People to be The Church right where they are.

It’s time to arise and open the doors of the hospitals (ministries, churches, organizations) for the broken, wounded, and shell shocked hearts running to find the answers, healing, and deliverance from a world that’s gone mad.

Has He called you?

Is this a part of the vision, the calling, the ministry that you know that you know He has deposited into you, just as His seed was deposited in Mary’s womb?

Magnify Him now as you wait to give birth.

And remember:

Luke 1:37

“For with God nothing will be impossible.”

Luke 1:45

“Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

I will pray you continue in being diligent and obedient in following God’s basic directions to build that bridge  (your relationship with Jesus), even when the outworking of His will are unclear or unknown.

Ministry Marketing Online: It’s Not About You

by Theresa Croft of DTC Ministry Marketingand Producer of GodsMediaTV.com

Video E-mail From God’s Media TV

It’s NOT about you.

It’s not about your ministry, your anointing, your message.

Sound harsh? How about this. Your message is for the people God has sent to you. Make sense?

My husband, Pastor Dave, has said this phrase, “it’s not about you” a lot lately. And I am in complete agreement with him.

But I realize, sometimes you can get in a place where you start to wonder…”Ok God, you gave me this message…Let’s see some manifestation of it in other people’s lives! You may let the fruits of fear start to invade your mind: doubt, anxiety, clutter, and procrastination.

So…I was reading in my normal readings the other day and some words in the Gospel of John leaped out in regards to this. In the process of reading and cross referencing some items, I not only found some good “meat of the Word” to show it’s not about our message, I also found some amazing keys that could help us identify the WHO, the people God has placed for you to impact for the Kingdom of God.

In marketing terms, your target market is a group of customers or clients that a business has decided to aim its marketing efforts and ultimately its products. A well defined target market is the first element to a marketing strategy. I like to think of it in terms of what a mentor of mine calls, “your flock” online. These are the people you know your message will connect with or help solve a specific problem.

The video above explains in more detail what the three keys I found in the Gospel of John that help you understand, “It’s not about you. You are just the vessel from whom God has chosen to deliver the word/ministry.

1) God has deposited this unique message in you. He IS THE ONE who reveals HIS revelation to you to advance His Kingdom.. “A man receives nothing unless it has been given to him from heaven.” John 3:27

2) John 3:34 “For He whom God has sent speaks the word of God, for God does not give the spirit by measure.’ So he who wants that message to magnify and spread to the right people, must continue to spend time with God and receive revelation from Him. That revelation can then come alive in your own life where you manifest the very message people need to hear. You help them with your message, your gift, your ministry…to get from point “a” to point b” spiritually, and you can do so because God HIMSELF has shown you how in HIS WORD. Exciting stuff!

3) “He must increase, I must decrease.” John 3:30 We must be pure vessels to carry His Word. The trials and wilderness can bring out refined vessels ready to be used by God, or whiney insecure ministers who try to control people to hide their insecurities. I think I’ll choose to be refined by fire to be gold, rather than hide by fear and be insecure.

4) Your message is ultimately not yours but the Lord’s. John 7:16-18 (GNT): Jesus answered, What I teach is not my own teaching, but it comes from God, who sent me.17 Whoever is willing to do what God wants will know whether what I teach comes from God or whether I speak on my own authority.18 Those who speak on their own authority are trying to gain glory for themselves. But he who wants glory for the one who sent him is honest, and there is nothing false in him.

So those who want to do God’s will , who need a solution to their addictions, marriage problems, finances…(your flock), he or she will know (connect with) your message and it will resonate in their heart, mind, and spirit!! You can’t fake the anointing. You must be authentic with no hidden agendas. Something to think about as God leads you along the path of being part of His answer to this world that is hurting and ready to bust at the seams with panic and confusion.

As the times get darker, more people will be in search of answers. You have THE Answer in your message. So, you see, it really is not about you.
